My two cents:

Having done R.E. Alevel, I can safely and honestly say that it was DIFFICULT. It was a challenge. Rev. Moore's stuff is intellectual and scholarly. It is so totally different from GCSE style questions. I got a higher mark in History than I did in R.E. and I'm chuffed to ahve gotten an A in R.E. What I'm trying to say is that the R.E. course that we do is difficult and I don't think that it should be frowned upon. Certain people might be prejudiced towards it but pshhhhhh when I had Uni interviews I explained all of the philosophy and stuff to them and they were impressed.

Stick with it, the R.E. department are really nice. Rev Moore is nice and clever and a great teacher. Mrs Rampton is nice and may seem like a crap teacher and dozy but I got my best marks in her exams so let's not put her down.

I don't think that taking R.E. should limit your chances at Uni.Enjoy

I am mature and sensible and I say give up your A levels and come and live with me and we'll form a electropopmagic band and dance for our money and shop in the lovely vintage shops and ride around on pink unicorns...

Ooooh i will go live with beth, who needs A-levels. meh!
R.e. is good especially if you want to do philosophy type studies, and buisness related subjects at uni/ for a careeer because one of the skills you have to learn and get quite a high proportion of marks on is being able to see both sides of the argument and put them across without using your own bias.
I <3 r.e. and half of its creative and half of it's hard, so i think you shall <3 it with me. I vote change coz i am a woman of chemistry, and i say it is shit and i would change if i could.
love you <3

don't do chemistry, it only gets worse. And loadsa people in my class failed it at AS and A2. it's only worth doin if you actually wanna do science at uni, caz it's so difficult and mind-numblingly boring. you're doin it for all the wrong reasons, do a subject you enjoy and will help with your career! if you wanna do a writing based course at uni, they'll prefer RE to chemistry.
get out now while you still can!
