Shelley appeared behind Stan in the doorway. “I told him you were out here crying like a turd,” she explained simply.

“You what?” Kyle shrieked, jumping to his feet. “Why?”

“Because it’s true,” Shelley said simply. “And because nothing snaps Turd here out of his pathetic little self-absorption like hearing that someone is crying.”

“Yeah, but,” Kyle protested, looking from Shelley to Stan and back, feeling his face flushing.

This was *so* awesome!! Finally some one portrays Shelley in a human, deep way... really interesting to read. I hope Kyle and Stan are friends again! :)
