There have been a number of articles about the oddity of the prose in The Da Vinci Code and Dan Brown's other books. For example, they all seem to start with a occupational noun, followed by a proper name, with no initial article. Of course, these days everybody has been turning out to be unoriginal, and I'm no exception. In the interests of not getting a huge book deal just to have it cancelled, I might as well reveal the source for Hurricane Specialist Dan Brown.
