I was going to transfer journals and realized LJ embedded advertisements in the new journal. Many of you don't have ads on your journals though, so I'm wondering if they recently started doing this to new users?

All new journals have ads.
That's why I'm hanging onto mine, even though I don't love the username anymore- this is from 2000.
