As promised, here are my thoughts on the book "Tesla: Man out of Time" by Margaret Cheney.

The author did a good job describing Tesla's life, inventions, trials, tribulations, eccentricties, and accomplishments. The writing was obviously based on collections of Tesla's correspondences, newspaper clippings, lectures, patents, publications and his ( Read more... )

Very cool! I'll have to put that book on my list.

Did you ever see the movie "The Prestige"? If not you should check it out. And only because they competed with one another I'd also recommend seeing "The Illusionist" although that one had nothing to do with Tesla, but The Prestige did.

I've been wanting to see both movies but haven't seen either yet.
From what I had heard, I was planning on playing "The Prestige" in my Creativity class if I watched it and liked it.
I guess I better get to watching them :)
It's easier to leap into it when you get a recommendation from someone you trust.
