Speaking as someone else who has had a lack of sleep recently, I hope you sleep well!!

I splurged and hit up North Main BBQ for dinner tonight. Couldn't help but think of our lunch there!

I read about your long trip to Arkansas. Sounds like one heck of a day. Of course, there are worse things to do than get paid to drive to Arkansas.

BBQ *droooool*

At the ABC Harley event last night I had their BBQ and it was....well...pretty bad. I couldn't even finish the plate and I was pretty hungry.
You can bet that I was thinking about out lunch at North Main BBQ.

Who would have thought that such a simple cut would be so difficult to get right.

Ah. It's because it's so simple. There's a story I've heard-probably about five times now between email and face to face conversations :-) -about the previous headmaster of Yagyu Shinkage-ryu saying that he hoped he could get that single cut perfect just once in his lifetime.

It's a theme I've heard echoed in MSR as well, about that "simple" jodan cut. The fact that I've heard that story so often is instructive in itself.

Sounds like it was a great session!

It was a great session. My shoulder, back, and (strangely) glutes felt it the next day.

Such simplicity IS hard to Master. I guess that is why one has to strive to become the "uncarved" block but complexity just happens.
