There are all kinds of silences in the world. There's that early mornin' silence, where it feels like the whole world is still asleep and you're all alone in it. There's the silence when everyone's gone to bed, where all you can do is lay in your bunk and think about all the mistakes you made in your life

The worst is the silence after you've been shot. It's awful.

I think I'd go with the early morning thing though... or the late at night one where everyone's going to sleep and you feel like they're all missing something and you're not.

Been shot a few times myself. Generally around the time I've had ta shoot somebody. I guess they just kinda blend into one another.

I like the early mornin' silence, too. Somethin' you have all to yourself, ya know?

Yeah, I know. Sometimes at night, I'd go out to stargaze cause we lived in this little town. It was so quiet at night.

I've never been a morning person. It's so bad it takes me forever to wake up. But when I'm up that early, it's a nice silence too.

I like lookin' at the stars, too. They kinda put things in perspective.

And generally, I ain't a mornin' person, either. The only time I get ta enjoy the mornin' silence is when I've been up all night 'cause of my nightmares.
