Modern Culinary Trends I Hate
- Spicy foods. Everything, and I do mean everything, now has enormous quantities of chipotle, or wasabi, or jalapenos, or "creole spices," or whatever, in it. For my part, I've never found pain to be a good addition to the experience of eating.

Why I Hate Visiting My Grandmother
- We don't have anything to talk about. She's still living in the 50s, or the 60s if I'm feeling generous. I don't really agree with her about anything, public or personal, and she has no sense of humor at all. I can't talk to my parents about most of what I'm thinking and feeling, much less her.
