Fanwork Exchange question

In the Fanwork Exchange announcement post we started wondering whether the sign-ups for the exchange should be screened (and therefore all top secret), or visible to everyone. Either way is cool with me, so here's a question for those of you who want to sign up: which do you prefer?

I thought about it. But then, open sign-ups might give those undecided a better idea of what's going on, and help them decide.

I think I'll just make screening optional. That should satisfy everyone.

Well you know where my vote goes too, though I didn't consider people would change their requests if the comments were screened. I wouldn't want people NOT to sign up if you unscreen them, I want all the possible people to sign up :|

Now I'm thinking about doing it this way: sign-ups are open, but you can screen your own comment (so that only the mods will see it) if you're not comfortable with making it public.
