I would love it if people could rec me post-series fanfic or meta or vids (whichever), which convey a sense of time has passed and age to Elena.

e.g. this Caroline/Elena fic of vampire-dom, where the current series is decades at least in the past.

Believe it or not, it's quite a challenge to find good meta that isn't flocked...

Stefan/Elena Top 10 Scenes (post-s2) by ever-neutral (and ANYTHING you can find by this author, because she's excellent).

Have you tried tvd-meta?

I have looked at tvd_meta, but I get so distracted! Mostly I just thought I'd ask to see if there was something that someone felt I needed to read.

Does anyone know of a good self harm fic or one where Elena's in the army? (preferably D/E centric please)
