[Warden filter]An inmate reported to me some damage in the female inmate showers to the pipework. I'm not sure of the veracity of the report, but if a female warden could go and check one way or another, that would be greatly appreciated. Why can't you just use your own judgement on who to inform and who not? This ship is small enough that surely it's easy enough to tell who might have legitimate business knowing and who's simply prying or looking to cause mischief.

[Gallifrey: big on state secrets, not so hot as far as laws about personal privacy are concerned. Narvin doesn't really have a concept of doctor/patient confidentiality. He loves state secrets and his secrets...everybody else's right to keep a secret if they want to? Not so much.]

Because I, and other doctors, took an oath that anything between me and a patient stays between me and a patient. We cannot give out information to people we think are appropriate. Prior permission is easier and quicker to obtain than permission after the fact, if you are in no position to give it.

A lot of people do. Some people don't, and there are usually good reasons why.

But I have never broken mine, and would never work with a doctor who had.
