I was merely enquiring as to whether you understand how drinking beer is a reward granted to oneself after a job well-done. Apparently, you don't - it shouldn't surprise me coming from a Frenchman, really. You lot are drunken losers more often than not, aren't you.

About those G8 photos, Angie. If you really have to put yourself front and centre like that, you might consider dressing differently. Two-toned outfits like these just make you look shorter and dumpier than you really are. I'm surprised no one's mentioned this to you before.

And speaking of the photos, WHERE THE HELL AM I?!? I was the draw at the G8 this year, not you!

You were probably dancing around (sans Cécilia) in front of some French camera or other when these were taken...

My dear Madame Chancellor, let me be the first to congratulate you on your number-one position on the Forbes list. Just don't get too comfortable there as I foresee a demotion coming in the near future. But you'll be satisfied with second place, I'm sure. And at least Condoleeza will finally be off the list completely. Sorry that I can't stay longer to chat, but there's another candidate debate scheduled, and I don't want to be late. We'll have opportunities to talk again, I'm sure.

I am very pleased to meet you, dear Mrs. Clinton, and am looking forward to seeing more of you. If you make it through the democratic primary and then through the election itself, that is - isn't Mr. Obama giving you some trouble?
