Justin brought up FFXIII today in conversation and then we looked for it at the rental shop (they were all out) but it got me in the mood to play Final Fantasy XII again, so I just started. I'm only 2 hours in but I'm definitely going to take it in baby steps so it doesn't consume my life. I probably won't be able to play it again until Sunday ( Read more... )

Never finished 12, but it is still one of my favorites.
Also the user pic is only relevant because the character is from that game.

I really enjoyed FFXII, unexpectedly. I thought that with the new battle system being so much like online games I wouldn't be able to get into it...but, the Gambit system eventually grew on me, and I really enjoyed the complex story, and the truly MASSIVE world. It's strange, I also just saw FFXIII today--online, browsing Amazon.com.

I hope you enjoy playing FFXII! I wish I could...but, we still don't have a TV. =( Oh yeah! I'll be sending out your letter tomorrow. =D
