Gorgeous use of the prompt. Oh god, you managed to put a different dimension to Yamamoto's character using this kind of conflict - a conflict which isn't hard to see between the lines of canon.

thank you ! ;w; i haven't wrote for a long time and i felt bad for it i had a sudden urge to write so i finally got down to doing it orz

i wrote the fic with this mentality: because yamamoto isn't inherently sentimental by nature, and because he is not a whiner (i'm sure there's a better way of putting this but i can't think of anything offhand), it makes it easy for us to undermine his sacrifice - one that, i'm sure, took a lot of courage and selflessness.
