isn't that the movie that they all go insane, gouge their eyes out, and open the air locks? I think I saw it once.

Yep, pretty much. This scientist guy tries to create faster than light travel by making this device that can manufacture a black hole to bend space to get from point A to point B. Only thing is that apparently Hell or something very similar is in between point A and point B. And they all go nuts and disembowel each other and eat each other and gouge their eyes out and weird stuff like that.
