You don't know me from a hole in the wall. I found this post as a "recent posting" while browsing through the site. I know that losing a pet can be traumatic. But he had most of five good years with you. It sounds like he started off rough, and you gave him a fantastic home, full of love. I am so sorry for your loss. I am happy for him, that he found you, that you were there for him.
