I have been clothes-lined by merit

The other day I was minding my own business, driving my sweet moterbike home from school when I noticed a rather large gathering of Thais to my right. As I was about to pass their merry-making, I line of rope was pulled tight across the road, blocking my path. ahhh, but who was making merit- the villagers or you or both?

And there are are people in the U.S. who will accept and give as much as many Thai do - you just have to find them in the right places. Your journey is just beginning, Melissa.
