Dude, you just insulted the poor in a post written about how the government mistreated them.
Maybe the government sees those people in the same light you obviously do. Below them, I mean why help people no one cares about? Clearly the poor aren't a group you respect, what makes you think the millionaires who run your country would feel any differently?
Also the governmnet didn't abolish gay marriage it voted down an ammendment to current statutes which would add same sex couples to the legally recognized definition of marriage. Nothing was taken away from homosexuals as far as rights go, simply their request for reform was denied. Was this unjust, in my opinion yes, but then again I'm Canadian, our government believes in fundamental rights and freedoms for it's citizens, we don't just use word freedom as an excuse to invade soverign nations. Bush with Iraq and Afghanastan and Clinton(a democrat) before him with Bosnia and Rawanda.
I do respect the poor since well, i am poor too. What i have written didnt have the intent of bashing people who are less fortunate, what i was pointing out albeit not clearly is that, how can these people sit back and say that bush has done his job, how can thay say that proper aid and relief was given to these people who suffered through this? Another of my points was clearly ironical that this woman from kentucky who apparently has giblets for brains, saying that these people who are poor should pay for their own relief, and pack up and move elswhere, its kind of ironic that kentucky is one of our poorest states, im sure if she was in that situation shed be whistling another tune besides dixie.
