I just went kind of insane on my teacher in an online posting we do in our culture class. i am posting it here for your viewing pleasure, to seal the deal so to speak on my racism.. blah

ok, so. while i agree and disagree with you on points let me say how excited i am. i NEVER have people comment on my stuff. this is just so exciting. who are you?? :P

That statement too makes me upset, these cultural norms and stereotypes are too ingrained. We can all sit around and say, "Everyone has a unique and rich culture about them." Yeah we can say it, but when it comes down to it, very few people really believe it, and in my cynical streak I could argue that no one does.

i agree with this. i get a bit pissy with the preaching in there about how we should all recognize all cultures as equal etc... no, sorry, but everyone is bound to believe that some cultures are more equal than others.

it's really hard to feign that i believe this and that i've just expanded so much, that this class has opened my mind, bla bla bla.
