1) Reversible cable dishcloth
The free pattern can be found
here; mine didn't turn out exactly as the picture, but it IS reversible. Made of 100% cotton.
2) Reversible eyelet ribbed scarf
Recyling yarn from a ho-hum ribbed scarf that I knitted nearly EIGHT years ago (gosh, I'm old). I posted these pics before, but let's refresh my memory (because I'm old, afterall).
The frogging:
Winding and washing the balls of wool:
The Reveal:
Made of 100% wool.
I originally got the pattern from
this website, but upon reading the pattern through, I found a vital error - the cast on number was wrong - it needs to be an odd first digit number so that the pattern is reversible (ie. not 44, it should be 54). I had to redo the thing several times before I realised the error!
3) My Second Clapotis
I wanted this one to be bigger than the one I'd made for my sister but I think I went a teensy bit too far. The final shawl/scarf measures 20" X 90"... it hangs past my knees when I have it hanging around my neck! There's no way to unravel it because it's knitted on the bias; I'm really toying with cutting the darn thing down... it's so massive.
It's looks rather small when it's all folded up, right?
Made of
100% alpaca yarn from this
pattern.
