After my last rant about how stupid it is for people to believe that there is NO link between Media Violence and aggression (yeah, that's what it was about) I thought I'd post my actual essay. Hehe. Yeah if you want to see me go from irate to semi-diplomatic, you should read my rant and then this.

Yeah, how could the media not influence children? Hell, how could anything not influence children?

Children are impressionable little molds. I continue to worry that all the shit I went through created an irreversible monster.

I remember in high school some people I thought were sheltered, and what's the word... prudish. But now I kind of wish I was raised more like that. I don't know. To be innocent in a way, to wait until marriage, I guess if it had been like that, I don't know. I feel I wouldn't have gotten as hurt. I would be some place better. I would have been a lot better of a person. I don't know. I guess I still think it was probably over the line as far as sheltered goes, but maybe that's better than under the line...
