(no subject)
I'm listening to my own pieces for the seven teenth hundredth time like an utterly self absorbed idiot hee hee. However, I maintain that I am not at all a bad guitarist :P In my own way.... and I like the electronic noise doodles too..... aaaaaaah I've been drinking! I am only on my second pint, it's true, but ai. I'm getting lighterweight with age.
Thank you everso to everyone who replied kindly to my last comment! And a different sort of thank you to pip for pointing out that under 25s need £44.65 to live on not £56.20 per week, as per the government. Ha ha. I told someone about even the fixty six twenty thing the other day and he said "hm. I'd like to see Mr Blair live on that." Hee hee. ...well, it's not really very funny. eh.
I need to reply to comments. I have a busy weekend ahead though! Me and pip are going to a conference about Labour (not a Labour conference!) on Saturday which is very exciting. I can't remember if I've said about this before... *muse* anyway, if I have, I will have said it's a conference of 'well wishers to Labour's left', and I'm sticking to that. ;)
I went to the doctor today about my eyes! I was all looking forward to it, due to my aforementioned hypochrondria, hehe, I was going to tell him everything that was wrong with me and it was all going to be alright!!!! But in fact it turned out more like this:
"so um....have you had a letter from my opticians?"
*pause*
"y-see I'm here because I had an opticians appointment a week ago....last friday....and she said I should, you know, I think I have macular degenerative..disorder....or something" *more pause while I wait for him to say something encouraging* "and anyway.... she thinks I need a consultant's appointment quite soon... and I have to... eh... I think I have to come and see you first...."
he's been looking at a letter on his computer.......
"they will contact you."
"oh... they'll... uh.... they'll send me a letter for my appointment... in the post?"
"yes."
"um."
*exit bebby*
I had all these great plans! Never mind. I think I shall go to bed very soon and listen to van morrison :) All tired! byeeeeeeeeeeeee!
