the driving thing was the same for me but get it changed so that on the weekend they fill it up for you and then you have to pay for any extra

sidenote - last year i spent $80/week driving my truck and about $40/week in the corolla - but you're drive is half of mine so i don't think it should be too much of a problem. hopefully - you should make them give you enough for strictly school/home every week
