Ari has been treading at Rabastan's side the entire time, not saying much.

She knows he's distressed.

She offers him her hand to hold.

It's taken, with a bit of squeeze.

More like, a fair bit of squeeze.

I don't want to be here. He looks around to see the white peacocks wandering the grounds. How long do I have before I'm noticed?

They could be anywhere. Even in what should be plain sight.

Lucius Malfoy has enough gold to buy a few invisibility cloaks after all.

Arianrhod's senses are on high alert as well - she's listening, very carefully, for the slightest rustling of leaves in the trees and on the grounds.

She, too, is waiting.

He looks about. Listens. Now that he's a werewolf his senses are, if not keener, then certainly richer and fuller, picking out things that used to be missed.

Hearing though, is better than before. No sound of robes rustling; just trees and their leaves.

No one is around, save for the two and the peacocks that wander the ground, trailing their trains behind them.

"Safe to get closer, I think."
