I have HBO and The Movie Network again.

I blame this completely on True Blood. I plowed through the first two seasons over the holidays, and now I'm addicted. So is Martin. I was already considering it because of the upcoming Game of Thrones series. True Blood convinced me though. I'd heard it was good, but I didn't realize it was good good.

That's one of the reasons that I just canceled my satellite tv, movies and all. I'd like to get some reading done this winter, instead. If I need a True Blood fix, though... /me makes puppy-dog eyes

Welcome to my world. I am also in a True Blood household (but I do not partake). A couple of times a week, I get thrown off the HD channels because too much is being recorded.

The trick is to only watch prerecorded stuff rather than channel surfing. Then you ge to be the one kicking people off of the receiver.

If HBO is behind it, there's promise of it actually being good. And the source material is pretty rich.

Watching True Blood gave me strange redneck dreams for days. I'm scared of what kind of nightmares Waking Dead might give me.
