This morning, my dad made pancakes and bacon and coffee.
Then we watched Outside Providence together, which I really like and he sort of liked.  
And then I read him Hunter S. Thompson.

This is just  a moment of appreciation for how cool my father is.  As you were.

So I missed the Cex show :-(, but I went to a barbecue at Jayne's house. It were lovely.

And I've been getting into the habit of coming back to Catonsville a half hour or so early at night and driving around alone, usually through Ellicott City, listening to music and thinking.  I really like it.

This morning I got coffee with Sarah Jane. Then I deleted about thirty people out of my phone, a hundred text messages, cleaned up my room some, read a hundred pages of a book, and wrote a poem. I feel good.

"OH GOD I HATE MY LIFE I'MSOSTUPID I'M NEVER GETTING INTO COLLEGE AND MY PARENTS WON'T LOVE ME ANYMORE AND I'LL CONTRACT SYPHILIS!!!"

Actually, I don't even really understand what my score means. But I'm glad it's done with =). Happy summer, y'all.

I'm at a point in my life where I feel like I have very little to say on a thing like livejournal, but that I want to keep in touch with people, and this is a convenient way to touch base.

So, I'm touching base. Right now. My finger is on the base.

Went and saw Stop Making Sense with Ben outside at Belvedere last night.

I'm looking to do things like that all summer. Just little interesting sorts of things. Baltimore's GOT to have more to offer than we all realize.
