The fact that what i want to do with my life is 'impractical' it's then useless to try. No more meaning of life, and no more meaning of self expression, i should just crawl into a hole and hide until i die. I don't think anyone would really notice.

Don't be fucking retarded. If everyone backed down from the challenge of achieving their dreams because they were "impractical" we'd live in a decidedly boring place. Don't you think that Ringo's parents were all like, "You know Ringo, being a mucisian isn't exactly the most practical job out there. Maybe you should consider another career. Duct cleaning, perhaps? Crumpet maker?" Damn right they said that (I was paraphrasing, of course). And where would we be if he had listened to them? What if John or George or Paul had pulled out too? The world would be pretty fucking messed up. And yeah, photography IS IMPRACTICAL! Get over it. Accept it. Accept that, yes, you might have to live in a dingy apartment and eat spam and eggos and have a seedy roommate who sells chinchillas out of the broom cupboard, or something to that effect. Yes, you may be 50 long before anyone takes a second glance at your work. Hell, you may be dead. Impractical is not the same as IMPOSSIBLE. So man up. If you want to do something, do it.
