I don't think they're freeloaders or terribly materialistic - I can't imagine budgeting for one child, let alone eight. But I do think she's ridiculously naggy and critical of her husband. And while the sleep reduction caused by eight children would make wenches of us all, I feel pretty bad for him. (And thusly don't watch it anymore.)

I love them, especially Kate. Let me tell you, if I was a stay-at-home mom with eight kids, I'd be a LOT more naggy and difficult than she is.
