Cadbury Recall

Melamine, the additive that has killed several and dangerously sickened hundreds of formula babies in Asia has been found in Chinese-made chocolate. I wondered how soon it would make it to adult food since the reports started popping up a couple of weeks ago about the formula. Now I know.

This was the same stuff that poisoned hundreds of cats and dogs last year. (And why I switched to no-grain cat food)

When that happened, I also wondered when it would show up in the human supply chain.

Ugh.

I didn't actually make that connection, because my cat's food wasn't part of the recall, so I didn't investigate further. Geez.

I'm pretty sure I'm never buying any food made in China ever again. Their regulatory standards are abysmal, and I doubt that will change any time soon.

I wonder how many products have been tainted now that chocolate has been recalled.
