Obama, was this appropriate?

Everyone can and should note that I've made ZERO comment about our President. I think that we ought to let the man do his job, just like I thought about Bush. There is a lot I don't agree with, and I'm ok with being disagreeable. I'm not interested in a political debate. But, I WILL question things that don't make sense.

When I checked the link, I got the message "The page you are looking for cannot be found or does not exist on NYPOST.COM"

So I'm kind of curious what's going on. We don't have television here.

While it was big-time wrongo to do, don't go blaming Obama. From everything I'm reading here and in other articles, Obama himself had little-to-nothing to do with it, was not on the jet during the fly-by, and is apparently pissed off that it was done.

Naw. Photoshopping doesn't cost as much as actually doing the fly-by.

*smaps all those involved in such ridiculousness*

From the NY Post:

"The NYPD and the city were notified of the planned flight, but did not share that information with Mayor Bloomberg and other New Yorkers"

I wouldn't be pointing a finger at the President when someone else clearly dropped the ball.

Just imagine the press release: "Today at 2pm a plane will be flying low to the ground escorted by two fighter jets, but don't worry, it's Air Force One."

Glad you don't work in PR.

How's about:

"At 2pm Today, Air Force One will be circling The Statue of Liberty and flying over parts of New York City for a photo shoot. President Obama will not be on board the aircraft. Both NYPD and FDNY are notified and standing by for the event."

Obama was PISSED when he heard about it. It was just supposed a photo shoot so he wasn't even informed until it was over and done. He has apologized on behalf of the White House and has promised that nothing like this will ever happen again, even when it's not his fault. What more do you want from the man??
