Lessons in cultural sinsitivity.

I found this on the CBC.

It's good to know Health Canada has a dark sense of humor. I also thought some of the comments were pretty funny.  Here's a good one: "Why are these groups getting up in arms? If, God forbid, people do start getting sick up there, if an epidemic does break out, they'll need these body bags."

"Harper says it's like sending body bags to soldiers in Afghanistan."

I'm pretty sure they take body bags with them.

But that is pretty darkly funny in a messed up kind of way.... something tells me I'd best not state that opinion around a few people.

It really would make a lot of sense if all the soldiers would just carry their own bodybags with them. It's downright needed, I say.

Seeing as we occasionally can't afford to give them body armour and appropriate camoflage, wouldn't a body bag really just be a cheaper solution?

Apparently it was just time for their multi-annual restock. But man, what timing. You'd think that when sending something like those out in a time of medical crisis you'd at least FedEx some cotton swabs or something over first, so the body bags are at least the second thing in line.

Yeesh.

Maybe call them "quarantine pods"?

Emergency sleeping bags.

Slumber party! (well, the goth kids would enjoy it)
