Got a letter from WPS today saying they've suspended the recruit class until early 2011. Apparently less people retired than what they actually thought. Where have I heard that before

Yeah, the market basically shoved everyone four years back from retirement according to the people at my work.

I suppose it gives time for some teachers to retire and give you the chance to put your degree to good use. Not cool in the meanwhile though.

God, just how long is it going to be until the 'mass exodus' that's going to leave us all these jobs? Our generation's going to be incompetent until we're nearing retirement age ourselves. Guess this is what happens when the people in charge of organizations are themselves trying to put off retirement as long as possible
