This was beautiful. It hurt to read in places. You showed Neal's depression so well. The anger, the hoplessness, the numbness, just not caring anymore. I have dealt with depression/anxiety off and on for about 17 years, I know those feelings well and you have expressed them so well here.

I also love how well this shows how much they all care about and love eachother. Mozzie calling Peter because he knows that is what Neal needs and Peter not even hesitating once Mozzie says that Neal needs him.

And the dog was just wonderful. Lovely story.

I've been depressed during some facets of my life so I can relate to what Neal is feeling, and thank you for thinking I portray it well in the story.

I know, Mozzie and Peter are simply awesome to Neal here. I have to believe that even though they are not always the perfect friends, when it matters, they'll always be there for him.

The dog is actually one of my favorite parts of the story. I'm so glad you liked this. Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment. :)
