Coppens didn't lie. The Gin Blossoms ARE actually good. Their first album is full of great pop songs. It's just people are too bullshit and macho to admit that they are good. I'm really digging them right now

Strange. EVERYONE I know hangs on Springsteen's nutz. Gin Blossoms, too. Can't tell you how many times Nate's busted out the acoustic and everyone's sang along to Hey Jealousy. I think he recorded it?

I think time can sometimes change things like that. I remember hearing "Meet the Knack" in highschool, and hating it. Then Ryan and Wendy gave me a copy this summer, and I loved it. I don't know. My point is that most people talk shit about bands, and have never actually listened to them. I'm not saying that is the case with everyone, just most.
