I felt like I was being a bit mean to Sirius - but on the other hand, isn't it even meaner to think that he could nearly kill someone and not give a damn? So at least this Sirius feels guilty...

Oh no, I liked miserable guilty Sirius. I thought it was good, and yeah, I much prefer that to him being a psychopath.
