Personal Canon
There's been a meme going around about everyone's personal canon for characters. I've been thinking about it myself, and some of my personal canon ideas are as follows. If you're interested in any others, please comment and ask. Comments are love.
Harry Potter Fandom
My personal werewolf canon includes the idea of a 'come-down' phase directly after a full moon, where Remus is extremely submissive and gentle for a few days after his transformation as a reaction - as little to be helped as the transformation itself - to being a werewolf. I definitely imagine Sirius as having had lots and lots of girlfriends whilst he was at Hogwarts. This personal canon sticks, whether I'm writing him as straight or gay - either way, he had loads of girlfriends. This is so deeply in my personal canon that I'm under the impression it's fact.
I may not invariably write him this way, but in my head, James is always redeemable. It might be because I'm in love with someone called James; but no matter how black things look against him... he's not actually a horrible person through and through. James is okay.
James is also totally and undeniably bisexual. Again, I'm utterly convinced that this is fact.
Chalet School
Okay, it'll probably come as no surprise to anyone who's read my CS fics that my personal canon is that Charles becomes a Catholic priest.
I'm getting more and more stuck on the idea that Con ends up writing erotica, too. Seriously, her medieval romances were just begging to bloom into sexual fantasies. She's got to end up as a writer of erotica.
Malory Towers
Quite clearly the queerest couple in the history of school stories. IMO, obviously. But they're totally saying they're going to set up and live together happily in Last Term. Yay for them :)
