Massive apologies to anyone who has read this already elsewhere. Skip over it, if so. But it belongs here, really.

I've said way too much on this topic over the past week or so but I wanted to add two more words--RIGHT ON.

I have, too. But I've been dithering on fences of "should I or not?" and I decided it was time to get myself down from that fence and just BE.

You know, I hope, that I've considered both sides of the argument.

Personally, I find it almost impossible to write about rape or non-con without making it disturbing. And a lot of other people do, too.

But also - in some countries, even reading about same-sex love (without any sex) is illegal. Does this mean that those of us in countries where it's okay should not be writing it? Or posting it on the net?

You said that you suddenly understood people from a more conservative viewpoint than yours, having found that you were more conservative than some other fandom people. Are you able to understand that I might not be evil, but still think it's okay to write some things that make you uncomfortable? (Please say yes, as I adore you.) You don't need to read them. But just understand that I mean no evil.
