I hate that your visit didn't go that well. If there is one thing I have learned over the years, it's to talk to your parents. For so long they were just the people who raised me. I loved them but I never talked to them. They didn't even know me...not the me all my friends knew. After I got married I realize just how important family is and how important it is to open up to them and let them know when something bothers you. You should tell them that is hurt your feelings. Not in a mean way but in a kind, loving way just say I was so glad I got to see you but I was really looking forward to seeing you longer and without the other people. At least you can get it off your chest. That always makes me feel better. I hope it all work out! Good luck on your busy week!

Thank you very much. That's really good advice. I have to realize that I'm 20 years old and I need to communicate better with my parents, especially being 2 hours away from home for most of the year! :) Thanks again. I just need to hear it from someone to kick my butt into gear.
