sitting in an office after a holiday is the closest i've been to wanting to hang myself, ever.  staring at computer screens, smelling copier toner, and listening to laughs from all over the place.  i want to sleep like i did yesterday and stop drinking coffee because my hands are shaking so bad i'm making typos like when i was 12.

i think at least half of all xmas depression is just a dopamine lowering caused by hangovers. but you wrote this a while ago, so i'm guessing you're fine by now.... copier toner, what's that smell? warm and metallic? and what's wrong with an oprah self-help vid? my sister got me finesse's "your girlfriends only know so much: a brother's take on mating and dating for sistas" for christmas, and i've been reading it all afternoon... it's surprisingly helpful. too bad you're not a girl.
