Stop the bleeding!!

Wow, that's a lot! I'd say slip cover the couch. You probably could find something at JC Penney's (we just got a slip cover for Jack's butt ugly recliner). Where are you ordering your window treatments that you can do it online? We desperately need something for our LR.

We'll probably go the slip cover route. I'm actually looking at some fairly cheap fabric and trying to convince MIL to teach me how to make one while she's here for Christmas. We order window treatments from Smith + Noble. Their prices are high, but they're always running some deal or another. They're great for custom sized stuff.

Our longterm plan is to do pot lights, but we can't right now because we have a flat roof over that part of the house. Until we redo the roof, we're stuck with a stop-gap solution.

I'll definitely take tons of pics. Don't worry.

Are you installing the track lighting yourself or having someone else install it? I am curious because DH wants to put some in our living room because it is so dark in there but he thinks he can install it himself...."piece of cake" he says....HA ha ha.

Did you get my email? I will send it to you again in case you didn't get it, yahoo was acting funny all day yesterday.

John thinks he's going to install it himself. I'll let you know how it goes. ;)

I got an email from you this morning that was a forward of our previous exchanges....but no new message.

Don't forget to take the before pictures -- I'm terrible about that and always regret it.

Can't wait to hear more about this, and to hear your report on contractors and subs.

Isn't Fanny's fabulous? I always find great stuff there. Are dining chairs are covered in Fanny's fabric.
