i have been ok, been a hectic set of months and no respite seen in the near future, but that's not a bad thing, keeps the mind busy

i am still living in dresden, and still working in genetics, slowly moving towards focussing research on alzheimer's disease, and photographing

any europe trips on the horizon again ?

Hello Katia.

I would like to say one thing
Here in Russia, where life is so unstable and sometimes terrifying, people who claim they are photographers take shots of glamorous girls in makeup in studio 95% of the time, though there are so many things to _show_ in this country.
Facing the reality is exactly what you do. You show things that others can't see because they don't want to or because they just don't face them, living in their small cosy warm worlds.
And this is what makes you a great artist, the strength and will to show life as it is, without makeup and all this pretending.
