oh yes, how i feel this.
katia's work is that rare work that i hope becomes published, famous, etc one day... it is sooo important...so beautiful. but also true. how many things you know are both beautiful and true at the same time? not many.
i really respect your work, katia. i dont know how else to say it.

the focus on the 'far' eye is a bit disturbing . . .
i can live with that,
it does do curious things to the composition
it doesn't distract from that enigmatic sort of smile
or the clarity of the gaze
even from the playfulness in the background
you give these kids the dignity
