Eight of my street youth photos will be part of a joint exhibition opening tomorrow, here in Seattle.
I was so excited to see the prints. It felt like I was finally giving birth to my babies. :)
It feels good that they are out there being seen.
I humbly hope they help the kids in some small, or big, way.

Imperative, indeed. The homeless are NOT what people commonly think.
Having been one myself, I know some of the most beautiful saints run on the streets. I'd rather talk to homeless kids than a Tupperware party.

Who has soul? The street gives you many maladies, but good God, does it give you soul. One learns their chops the hard way. Bless yr heart for snapping a camera at them. Some of them are true Heroes.
