Back to the pool tonight.  That's a good way to burn some time when Reil's at class, motivate the kids to get their homework done, and for me to get some exercise in ( Read more... )

Next time, try lubricating your feet with some Vaseline before going on a long walk like that. I did this last year for the Breast Cancer 3-Day and I did not get a single blister, despite having walked 53 miles. Works like a charm!

Ooh. Thank you for the suggestion! I'm using all of these shorter walks as practice for a long walk next year, so it's good to figure out what works and what doesn't!.
