We're Debt Free!

Yes, I am shouting this from the rooftops, because it's been 4+ years and about $100,000 in the making.

And today, just after noon, we paid off the final debt in our snowball.

Our next steps are to save up an emergency fund of 6-12 months of expenses, start Roth IRAs for both of us, and get some 529s started for the kids.  Then we'll look at

Woo hoo, good for you guys! Did you radically budget for four years? It's hard to be debt free these days! Congrats!

There were periods of time where we kept a really tight budget. Other times, less so.

Overall, we had to really change both our spending and, more importantly, how we viewed spending and money.
