So I get all bummed about mixing and then suddenly I'm super happy with everything I'm doing. For whatever reason I just became obsessed with killing 100-200hz... I think it just worked once and suddenly I wanted to do it everywhere. Lesson learned. Also, never underestimate the power of hi-passing

i do the same. i have quite a few albums on there that i have never once listened to. but i can't delete it. kinda weird..

it rules to read about the bands you are recording and reading about your techniques and progression as an engineer.

then hearing the recordings its sweet to see the whole process.

hey andy, after reading your post i finally synced my ipod (dave's old ipod) with my itunes. it was running out of room and it feels like my ipod for the first time. although now I realize i lost tons and tons of great albums that i don't currently own.
