Chris and I decided going to NeonCon in Las Vegas last weekend would be a good excuse to meet in the same city and also celebrate my birthday a little early. I have to say, it was a good idea. Just got back from the farmer's market and here's what $5 (at a time) bought me today:
3 pounds of fava beans
2/3 of a two-pound loaf of pain de campagne (I actually bought the whole loaf)
1 pound of Rainier cherries
two large Brandywine tomatoes

Nightlife of a Busybody

Holiday Weekend: Food, Movies and Cocktails
