ah weird day today at drama. we had a meeting and we had a 'beef session' and well people started talking about clique and stuff and someone pointed out eric, kelly, taylor, and i and man i just felt so awkward. i hated being pointed out like that.. espeically since they were like 'it's you guys and then the other half of the cast." i'm like, we're ( Read more... )

yeah, when i first met you in drama i expected you to be really outgoing like kelly and eric, but then you didnt really talk to me. so i had to make the effort and then as we got to know eachother better you broke out of your shell and said "heyyyyy".
but you're not uninviting, you're just shy. i think most people know that.

Ummm, pretty much I don't understand why they pointed you guys in particular out at ALL. I mean, I don't really see an overmuch amount of clique-age anyway, but I thought that was pretty much out of line, even for a Beef Session. You guys have just reached the point of awesome where people look up to you, and that makes them want to be well-in with you guys, but...that's no reason to try and bring you guys down like that. It doesn't make any sense to me.

Because like Caitlin, I think you guys are super rad. It's ironic because Tanya and I were talking about cliques in drama on the way home yesterday, and we really don't really see it as a problem anymore. Everyone's been open this year, ya know?

did Cressey start the Beef Session? or what? I'm confused.

you are weird. but in an amazingly good way. i saw you and holly laughing and having a good time so i decided to get to know you as well. you were very nice i think. i can't remember. but hey, im in the clique now so who cares? i was just kidding about what i just said by the way.

It's as old as, well, me. Sometimes, when people can't work up the guts to get past their shyness and get with the other shy people who have, they can easily blame a clique.

Cliques build walls and deliberately exclude folks to make themselves feel more important.

If I'm afraid to join, it doesn't mean they are excluding me.

This is me, shy, too.
