Florida weather dictates it. It's hot most of the year and since I don't live near the ocean, I don't get the benefit of sea breeze. My hair gets oily pretty quickly as well, so if I shower at night, I'm halfway to being an icky greaseball by the time I get up.

Woot! Elsa's Procession to the Cathedral is one of my favorite pieces too! We played that during my junior year for one of our graded festival performances, and it was my first triumph on the oboe without almost passing out! I was bummed out because our director wouldn't listen to my requests to play the Moldau by Smetana, but this was totally gorgeous, so I didn't mind!

Oh, and I can't ever pronounce "Lohengrin" either, without somebody who speaks the native language laughing at me and my Americanized pronunciations!
