Something is wrong with my left foot,

and I think I've finally figured out what it is: Tailor's Bunion. Sounds gross, but it doesn't look that gross, really. Scientifically speaking, the metatarsal phalangeal joint is getting misaligned, probably partially from running, and partially from when I hurt it playing karateguys (it definitely got way worse after that). All the symptoms I ( Read more... )

I have a bunion but on my big toe side of my foot. the dr x-rayed it and said it's 50% bad but that surgery doesn't last more than 10 years so she wasn't going to do surgery. it'll hurt a lot of days in a row but then it won't hurt. I bought these pads to stick on my foot around it and it relieves the pressure. they used to have this circular bandaid looking things but with a gap in the center and cushion on the edges but they stopped selling those at target and Giant Eagle so maybe they don't have them anymore. But boy did they help. It's like once it gets hurt, it'll hurt for days (forever) until you come up with some fix to alleviate the pressure.

Yours might be different than mine so I don't know.

Mine it's like actually the bones that are messed up that are near the heel and then I just do things to relieve the pressure at the ball of my foot because the messed up bones make the other bones sit weird.

I have very technical terms

They are terms I can understand. I think these two footthings might be pretty different, but hurt equally.

my foot looks like the after foot in the bunion pictures, but i don't think i have one, because it has never hurt. i think i just made my feet weirdly-shaped by going on pointe too early.

you have trapezoidfeet?

i can't imagine the things ballet can do to your foot anatomy. my cousin who's 34 just got told she can never dance again because doing it this long has ruined her back. she doesn't know what to do with herself.
